But I don't want dreadlocks...

After my last post, someone posed a very valid question to me - so what can I use to clean my hair? Rest assured I will be researching some brands and letting you know.

Earlier this week I would have confidently referred you to your local chemist to grab some Organic Instinct Natural Shampoo, Natural Conditioner etc etc. HOWEVER, much to my disgust, I have discovered that they have recently been found to be breaching the Trade Practices Act and their products actually contain many of the ingredients I named and shamed in my last post.

On one hand - it's great to see that the ACCC are policing that sort of thing. But my next quest (in addition to finding a new shampoo and conditioner) is to find out how on earth they are allowed to use the terms Organic and Natural on thier packaging!

I, personally feel a little violated. I have been using these products for a few years now, trusting that they are safe and effective for me and my family. It highlights how difficult it is to trust products branded with such terms and how regulation needs to become so much more stricter before the products hit the shelves.

So now I have about 1ltr of shampoo, 1ltr of conditioner, and about 1/2ltr of hand wash to get through. Hopefully by then I will have found a suitable replacement. I will let you know how I go....
